去年底（2009）很荣幸能参加少年营会。。。喜欢少年人的纯真和受教。。。
End of last year (2009) I had the privilege to join the Youth Camp… I love the child-likeness and teachability of the youths…

基本上，教导时他们都会很专心听。。。我想是因为恩膏和“我很凶”参半吧？哈哈。。。
Basically they are very attentive when I teach… I think it is due to a mixture of anointing and that I am very “fierce”? Haha…

但我相信也跟他们有一位也很受教的团长有关。。。在我左边的高团长，又名高尊，最近又加新名高分贝。。。
But I believe it also has something to do with the fact that they have an equally teachable Youth Leader… our very own David Koh on my left…

少年人比成人容易教。。。他们也乐意被祷告。。。
Youths are easier to teach as compared with adults… they are also very willing to be prayed for…

但对少年人不能总是严肃和太保守，有时也要放轻松，释放自己，跟他们打成一片。。。
But with the youths, you can’t be just very serious and conservative all the time, at times you need to relax, let go of yourself and mingle with them too…

所以没办法，有时候也要扮可爱。。。
So no choice, sometimes you have to act cute too…

你看，大家都有同样动作，多好看！

这张叫“给你一个飞吻”。。。看得见我在哪里吗？哈哈。。。

这是今年新年除夕大团圆时所拍的团圆照。。。我们真是一个大家族啊。。。
This was taken during the reunion dinner this year on Chinese new year’s eve… We are really a big family…

我们几个兄弟姐妹。。。很可惜二哥、五姐、六姐和七姐没在。。。
你们分得出谁是谁吗。。。？哈哈。。。
Some of my siblings… It’s a shame my 2nd brother, 5th, 6th and 7th sister were not around…

所谓“一个马来西亚”因为我的姐夫当中有马来诺人、华人、肯亚族人、比达友人、加拿大洋人、还有两位印度人！
可惜当天不是每位在场。。。
For “One Malaysia”, that is because among my brothers-in-law, we have a Melanau, a Chinese, a Kenyah, a white Canadian, and two Indians!
It’s a shame not all were present that day…

我家第三和第四代。。。

其中最小的一名，但常为他的人权奋斗。。。
One of the youngest, but always fighting for his rights…

这是一首蛮长的敬拜歌，在主日和祷告会都有唱，特别在祷告会时很多人都会被鼓励晓得原来上帝那么爱我，因而祷告更有把握神会垂听。。。

这首歌，很喜欢这句：“这到底是谁？ 屡次被我忽略，我始终却是他的优先。。。”

This is a rather long worship song, we sing it during Sunday services and prayer meetings, especially during prayer meetings many people are encouraged knowing that indeed God loves us so much, that people are more confident that God will certainly listen to their prayers…

For this song, I like this phrase very much : “Who is this really? So often neglected by me and yet I am always His priority…”

这首歌很莫名其妙在教会“红”起来，出乎我预料之外。。。
首先它是我十多年前写的一首属于慢版的敬拜歌，但我一直对它的旋律不太满意，所以被打入“冷宫”十多年。。。
去年心血来潮把它修饰过，再改为轻快版的赞美歌。。。
敬拜排练教唱这首歌时，还被电脑和我网站天才 Hen 开我玩笑说是 70年代刘文正式的歌。。。让我哭笑不得！
但当我采用一首美国现代诗歌的编曲来套在这首歌上时，突然它变的很有动感，很带动气氛，大家就改观了，结果一炮而红。。。
所以一首歌的编曲相当重要。。。编得对，不太好听的歌都会变得好听；编不对，很好听的歌都会失去原味。。。

This song has unexpectedly become popular in church, beyond my imagination…
First, it was a slow worship song which I wrote more than ten years ago, but I had never been satisfied with its melody, so it was shelved and ignored for all these years…
Last year or so I had the urge to modify and change it into a livelier praise song…
As I was teaching this song during praise and worship, our computer and website genius Hen joked that it sounded like a 70’s oldie… I did not know whether to laugh or cry!
But when I used the arrangement of a contemporary American Christian song on this song, it suddenly became quite upbeat and catchy, and people’s opinion changed, and it became a hit straight away…
So a song’s arrangement is very important… if the arrangement is right, a not-so-nice song can become very nice too; but if the arrangement is not good, a very nice song would lose its original feel too…

***至于这首“不是梦”，我最喜欢的是这句 “与主攀登那最高山峰，我不小心坠落，却掉入我主的恩手中”。。。

“轻烟”很诗情画意、很抒情。。。可以唱给神，也可以献给人。。。
提醒我们要珍惜上帝的爱和身边的人，也要看重上帝给我们的生命。。。
当初一写完这首歌，就传简讯给一位好友把歌献给他。。。

“A Mist” is kind of poetic and romantic… you can sing it to God and also dedicate to people…
It reminds us to treasure God’s love and people around us, and to value the life God has given us…
When I finished writing this song, I texted and dedicated this song to a good friend…

有次去陪妈妈吃午饭，妈又开始唠唠叨叨问一大堆让我很烦的问题，可是当我看着她喋喋不休的嘴唇时，很奇妙的一句话和旋律飘进我脑子里，“未曾忘记你的手牵着我的手。。。”；我就马上请妈安静一下，我走去角落用手机把这一句录起来。。。
过后回到家就把它发展成这首献给妈妈的“未曾忘记”。。。母亲节或在任何时刻献唱时，总看到台下有一些人哭的稀里哗啦的。。。

Once I went to accompany mum for lunch, mum started to ask a series of “annoying” questions again, but as I looked at her non-stop speaking lips, amazingly a line with melody floated into my mind, ” Never forgotten how your hand held my hand…”; immediately I asked mum to halt, I went to a corner to record this one line with my handphone…
After that I went home to finish writing this song “Never Forgotten” which I dedicate to mum… Every time when I present this song, be it on Mother’s Day or otherwise, I would see people weeping as the song touches them…
