那一天，是很快乐的一天。。。 That day, it was a very happy day…

那一天，2009年6月6日（星期六）是我们教会青少年联合运动会。。。天刚破晓，大家都已聚集在银禧运动场。。。
That day, Saturday, 6th of June, 2009 was our Youths and Young Adults’ combined Sports Day… At daybreak, we were already gathered at Jubilee Ground…

凌晨6点正，少年团高伟宏团长，我的好同工准时带领大家以赞美敬拜作为运动会的开始。。。
At 6am sharp, our Youth Fellowship leader, David Koh, my good co-worker kicked start the sports meet with praise and worship…

大家都很喜乐的赞美主。。。   All were praising the Lord joyfully…

有白的。。。    some in white…

有绿的。。。    Some in green…

红和蓝。。。    还有很多其他的。。。    Red and blue… and many other colours…

运动会停办了很多年，有很多谣言说那是因为在最后一次的运动会中，牧师在他的最强项200m赛跑没跑第一，结果决定封杀运动会。。。老实说，这谣言可真可假。。。但谣言不攻自破，因牧师突然间又信心满满的让运动会死灰复燃。。。
Our sports day was last held many many years ago, there were a lot of rumours that said because Pastor did not win in his pet 200m event in the last sports meet that he decided to ban sports days forever… honestly there seemed to have some amount of truth in those rumours… But the rumours were finally broken, because Pastor was suddenly very confident again to resurrect the sports day…

那天我包得密密实实的。。。    I was heavily clad that day…

但他们不知道里面暗藏杀机！    But they did not know my secret weapon inside!

记得哦，这是青少年运动会，而我也有参赛哦！
可笑的是，这些年轻人竟然把我当着他们的劲敌！而我的年龄几乎可以当他们很多个人的爸爸！。。。对我的年龄很好奇的人，这个启示满意了吗？。。。
其实我是占优势的，我若果跑输了，那是理所当然的，哎哟，老人家怎么跟青少年比嘛？。。。但我若跑赢了，他们可没有脸了！

Remember, this was a Youths and Young Adults’ sports meet, and I was participating!
Funny thing was, these young people actually regarded me as their threat! And yet my age is enough to be many of their father!… For those who are very curious about my age, are you satisfied with this revelation?…Actually I had the advantage, because if I lost, that would be very normal, come on, how could an old man compete with the youths?… But if I won, they would be very embarrassed!

比赛开始前，要再提醒一些比赛规则：不可用脚踢人、用瓶子丢人、用刀砍人或用枪射人。。。
Before the actual competition started, all were reminded of the rules again: No kicking of others with your legs, no throwing of bottles at people, no chopping with daggers and no shooting with guns…

正式比赛开始！    So the competition started!

结果我又在我的强项200m“脱颍而出”。。。按照片来看，你们说是谁赢？事实上是右边那二十岁小伙子赢我一步！虽没跑第一，但也算不错啦！
As a result, I was very outstanding again in my pet 200m event… Judging from the photo, who do you think won the race? In reality, the 20 year-old little fella on the right won by just one step! Though I did not win, I thought that was not bad too!

因为那天我负伤上阵。。。我非常了解刘翔的感受！ Because I ran with an injury that day… I really understood Liu Xiang’s feelings!

你看那Edwin还赢得那么高兴，说他唯一的对手就是我！哎哟Edwin啊，我真的能做你的爸爸啦！
And yet look at that Edwin, he was so glad that he beat me saying his only threat was me! Oh please, Edwin, I can really be your dad!

后来看到有一队分数稍落人后，因可怜他们就作他们4x100m的最后一棒；不错啦，也帮他们追到只差一步就第一名。。。
Then I noticed one team was falling behind in points, so I pitied them and volunteered to be their final runner in the 4x100m; not bad, I managed to chase till one step behind the first runner again…

看到年轻人为自己的队伍那么认真、同心、尽力。。。还会为分数、赛果“良性”争执，过后亦是好朋友，还说明年再来。。。
Seeing young people so serious about their team, so united, hard-working… and even “fought” healthily over marks and race results, and after that still remained good friends, and said we would meet again next year…

这就是年轻人，单纯、可爱、可吵可好。。。
this is young people, innocent, cute, can fight and still be good friends…

看着他们我的心很感恩，我跟上帝说，我真的很爱这教会，谢谢你给我那么好的教会。。。
Looking at them, I felt really grateful, I told God I really love this church, thanks for giving me such a good church…

那一天是快乐的一天。。。那一天是很美丽的一天。。。
That day was a happy day… That day was a beautiful day…

可是那一天。。。有谁知道我心中隐藏了一个秘密？
那一天。。。有谁知道在很快乐的同时，我的心也在流血。。。
But that day… did anyone know I harboured a secret in my heart?
That day… did anyone know that while feeling very happy, my heart was also bleeding at the same time…
