牧师在厕所里面！ Pastor in the toilet!!

出外布道或宣教，尤其是带着大团队时，通常为了省钱或不要麻烦主办当局，我不介意跟团员挤一个房间。。。

好几年前我们到槟城布道，那一次同样的我们好几个男生挤一间房，都睡在地上。。。

早上醒来，勇豪发现我“不见”了，看见房间厕所门关着，就随口问问：

“牧师，你在哪里？”

“我在厕所。”

“你在厕所做什么？”他问，语气有点讶异。

真奇怪！什么问题嘛？在厕所还能做什么，不是小便就是大便啦！

我没好气的回答说：“大便啦！”

他静了一下子，然后说：“牧师，我没有办法想象你在厕所里面的样子。。。”

天啊！谁要你想象啊？？？

他还没完没了：“你是怎样坐？有把脚翘起来吗？还是怎样？因为你每次在人面前形象都美美的。。。我真的无法想象耶！”

“神经病，你够了没有？大便就大便，还能怎样子坐？”我不知道要哭还是笑，大便都没安宁！

我出来了，他还吃吃的笑说：“我真的无法想象你也会大便。。。嘻嘻嘻。。。”

唉！真是莫名其妙！

说真的，有时候教会弟兄姐妹真的会把牧师或属灵领袖“神化”或“天使化”，把他们当作很完美，不食人间烟火，没有陋习、软弱或不雅动作等等。。。所以我常提醒大家说，我虽然看起来像天使，可是我可是100%的人！

上帝呼召我做牧师，我哪有办法？不就乖乖的做咯，还能怎样，他是神啊，不听他的还听谁的？

但做了牧师，我还是100%的人啊！当然在生命、品行、态度等等，我们要尽量做好榜样，不要绊倒人；但若偶尔看到我们这些做牧师的人的软弱，请不要忘记，我们跟你完全一样，是100%的人在努力做好自己的本分罢了。。。我们还是要大便、小便、吃饭、睡觉的。。。而且放屁还是会臭的！你若不小心闻到，千万不要跌倒哦。。。

When we go outstation for evangelistic meetings or missions, especially when bringing a big team, to cut costs and lessen the burden of the organisers, I don’t really mind squeezing with the other team members in a room…

Quite a few years back, we went to Penang, similarly that time a few of us guys squeezed in one room, all sleeping on the floor…

Morning came, Vin woke up and did not see me in the room, he noticed the toilet door was closed, so he simply asked…

“Pastor, where are you?”

“I’m in the toilet.”

“What are you doing in the toilet?” He sounded a bit surprised.

Ridiculous! What kind of a question is that? What else can you do in the toilet apart from passing urine or motions!

Getting a bit annoyed I answered: “Passing motions!”

He was quiet for a while, then he said: “Pastor, I can’t imagine how you look in the toilet…”

My goodness! Who needs you to imagine???

And he was not done, he continued: “How did you sit? Do you cross your legs? Or what? “Cos you always have such beautiful image in front of people… Oh no, I really can’t imagine!”

“Siaw ah! (Are you mad!) Have you had enough? Passing motions is passing motions, how else can I sit?” I don’t know whether to cry or to laugh, can’t even give me some peace in the toilet!

Coming out, he was still kind of giggling: “I really can’t imagine you actually pass motions too…hehehe…”

Sigh! What nonsense!

But honestly, sometimes church brothers and sisters can really “idolise” or “angel-ise” pastors or leaders, thinking that they are perfect, so untouched by the world, no bad habits, weaknesses or unsightly moments… So I always remind everyone, I may look like an angel but I’m 100% human!

God called me to be a pastor. what can I do? But to obey Him like a good boy, what else can I do? He is God, if you don’t listen to Him, who else are you going to listen to?

But when I become a pastor, I’m still 100% human! Of course in terms of living, actions, attitude etc, we must try our best to be a good example, try not to stumble people; but occasionally if you see some of our weaknesses, please do not forget, we are just like you, 100% human trying our best tyo do our job well… We still need to pass motions, pass urine, eat, and sleep… And when we fart, it stinks too! So if you accidentally smell it, please do not be stumbled…

这就是不能接受我也会大便的勇豪。。。  This is the Alvin who couldn’t accept I actually do pass motions too…
