(经文 Scripture : 撒上 1 Sam 15)

(1) 人找借口的原因
Reasons people look for excuses

(i) 因骄傲或顾面子  Pride or “saving face”

(ii)因害怕或没勇气  Fear or lack of courage

(iii) 因保护个人利益  Protect self-interest

(2) 借口是变相谎言
Excuses are distorted lies

(i) 三番四次找借口  Kept on looking for excuses : v15, 20-21, 24

(ii) 神非常的不喜悦  God was really displeased : v10-11, 16, 22-23

(iii) 失神和人的恩宠  Lost favour with God and man : v26-29, 35

    sometime i use any reasons to escape myself from the truth. i dont know how to facing the truth and i cant accept the truth. but now after join BLESSED CHURCH and know each other, and hear a lots of advice from pastor,then i learn a lots. now i would’t find any reasons as excuse to escape. even with my dad,my mom or any else,i’m just telling the truth,but sometime i’m scare if they angry. never mind la…
