又见萧丽君－喜乐的“苦命女子”。。。 Seeing again Xiao Li Jun – joyful lady who went through lots of suffering…

美国去不成，我提早回国，星期六路过新加坡待一夜，刚好我好朋友 Billy李牧师教会当晚有布道会，讲员是萧丽君姐妹，李牧师也邀我客串几首诗歌。。。

说到丽君，你不得不钦佩，也必被她见证鼓励，看到上帝的爱和能力的伟大。。。

试想想，被变态歹徒在脸上砍了几十刀，又用沸水淋在脸上。。。经过二十多次的手术，从身体其他部分接皮等等也凑不出一张完整的脸孔。。。

右眼失明了，双耳被砍断了。。。四岁的儿子看到妈妈的脸惊吓的奔走说这不是他母亲。。。

这些只是她悲惨经历的简短形容。。。然而她却能靠着神的爱和力量活出喜乐的人生，还把盼望带给人。。。

所以很高兴能再次见到她。。。

Because I was unable to make it to the USA, I came back earlier, stopped over for a night in Singapore on Saturday and it happened that my good friend Pastor Billy lee’s church was having an evangelistic meeting that night, the speaker was Sister Xiao Li Jun, Pastor Billy invited me to sing a few songs too…

Talking about Li Jun, you have to admire her, and will be encouraged by her testimony seeing how great the love and power of God is…

Just think, being stabbed on the face by a murderous pervert more than twenty times, and having boiling water poured on her face after the stabbing… went through more than twenty surgeries, having skin grafted etc from other parts of her body, and yet not able to construct a complete face…

She lost her right eye-sight, both ears chopped off… her four year-old son then ran away screaming after seeing her face saying that was not his mother…

These were just a short description of the sufferings she went through… yet she could later live a joyful life and bring hope to others all because of the love and strength from God…

So was very happy to meet her again…

    From her testimony, we know that she had forgiven the 3 men who had done cruel things to her ; her dad, her ex-husband and lastly, the person most difficult to be forgiven, that is the man who caused her to be in her current state. She has chosen to forgive which is so-called a smart thing to do, no doubt it is easier said than done. If we harbor grudges against anybody, we are the ones who suffer.

    When negative things happen to us, no matter how much we yell and scream, murmur and complain, it’s not going to make anything better.
    The bible says we are like a mist, a vapor; we’re here for a moment, then we’re gone. Life is flying by, so don’t waste another moment of our precious time being angry, unhappy, or worried.

    Wow, I don’t know what to say now. I cannot imagine what she has suffered, it sounds so painful only by reading the short version of the story stated by you.

    She is so loved and blessed by God, and it is nice to see her joyful face here, her testimony must be touching and encouraging to everyone who hears it.

    I feel so thankful for her to overcome all the difficults, she is great!!

    She is full of life….what I have gone through just could not compare with hers. She taught me to throw out the rubbish from my inside and let Jesus do the rest. She is a beautiful woman greatly love by God.

    牧师，我曾经看过这位苦命女子，就在我补习老师的家，老师开她的 VCD给我们看，我们差点儿看到泪流满面呢！好紧张，也好害怕那个变态老！又好可怜那个女孩子！牧师，我觉得萧丽君这女孩是个非常坚强，非常勇敢的女孩，我们都应该向她学习啊！
