ii.   结出生命的死
Death that bears forth lives: 约 Jn. 12:24
iii.   所以结束要好
So must end well

2. 雅各美好榜样
Jacob’s great example: 创 Gen. 49:33

i.   肉体虽已衰残
Though physically deteriorated: 创 Gen. 48:1-2, 8-10
ii.   没忘记神恩典
Did not forget God’s goodness: v3-4
iii.   灵性仍然敏锐
Spiritually still alert: v12-19, 49:1-28

Pastor, I am referring to the notes that are posted below the video. These had been very helpful to me as I just click “copy and paste” to my word document and synchronise with my mobile. (I’m sorry…I don’t mean to be lazy….haha….)

GN, notes are posted.

Pastor, FYI, the “overlap” note only appear in live broadcasting video if user watch it live. The recorded version cannot be included the “overlap” notes because the quality is not good if we record it that way, also have a lagging problem. Therefore, the one we post/upload later are taken from the recording machine, which is without “overlap” caption/notes.

At the moment we have to do it this way, until we have “video controller” machine, then we can make sure both are using the same screen.

Dear Pastor,

I really like your sermon. Hope you can post more of your sermon and God’s teaching on the website. I think your website is very successful in the sense that it has the light and humerous side (i.e. the diary of a botak head,….) which attracts people, while incorporating the golden words of God in it……………..

Ps. Lim, You were saying that do not let anyone lays hand on you if that person’s background is unclear because it could be dangerous like the black pastor who prayed for Rita’s son and five evil spirits came out from him and threw that boy out of the balcony. Where can I find the verse to support this statement? I thought it was 1Tim5:22 but that was regarding appointing deacons and leaders, right?

Ya, I would think that verse is applicable as laying on of hands should be done by people who have been tested and have rightful spiritual authority to do so. In our church I only appoint a few to do that, I don’t think it is something simply used for “training” or “practice”…

Ps. Lim, Thanks for the reply. This is not an easy verse to explain to other believers because Paul only said do not be quick in appointing a church leader and full-stop. I once told a sister that when coming forward for prayer, I will pray to God only bring people He wants them to pray for me because I don’t want to inherit “undesired” spirit from them. The sister just stared at me bewildered. 1 Tim 5:22 is too brief.
