Scripture

1）真理叫你得自由
The truth will set you free: v32
持守在主的话里
To continue in the word of Jesus:
a) * v31 “遵守我的道” / “hold to my teaching”
原文Original meaning:
“继续留在我的话/教导里”
“continue or remain in my word/teaching”

b) 主教导谦卑悔改, 信他宝血的恩典与怜悯, 非靠守律法 The Lord teaches humility and repentance, believing in the grace and mercy of His blood, not justification by observing the law

c) 约Jn. 15:9 “常在”我的爱里 /
“remain in” my love
*即：与主保持亲密
ie. be close with Jesus always

ii) 不再被律法定罪
No longer condemned under law
iii) 无罪魔鬼无权力
Without sin the devil has no authority

2）给魔鬼留地步者
People giving the devil a foothold
i) 撒谎不诚实的人 The liars and dishonest:

ii) 骄傲不认罪的人
The proud and unrepentant: *雅 James 4:6-8
iii) 含怒不饶恕的人
The angry and unforgiving: *弗 Eph. 4:25-27
