Hi Pastor, thanks for writing this blog. It serves as a good reminder to me to treasure my dad. As for my mum, your song “未曾忘记”serves to remind me. Somehow, I don’t have much courage to listen to this song, as everytime after listening to it, I will somehow feel sad. It doesn’t mean I don’t treasure or love my parents but I felt I might have done better. Thus, if in anyway I feel that I have neglected them, I know where to look for reminder now, that is this blog and your song, hahaha ….. This whole noon my mum kept playing your song “”未曾忘记” ….. Oops….Is she reminding me to treasure her ?? … Better bring her out now to jalan jalan before she goes for her eye cataract op tomorrow, haha…

你属于或喜欢哪一类型？ Which type do you belong to or like?

To me, (A) is definitely out as if the message was sent to me by someone whom I know, no matter how I shall still reply as I find it rude if I failed to.

(C) is out for me too as when I helped people, usually I won’t ask for any return even if that person wanted to. To me, sincerity is very important if we want to maintain a good friendship and I felt this attitude does help to touch the life of pre-believer friends and bring them to Christ.

I think I shall be more inclined to (B) and (D) as whatever it is, I must always thank GOD for everything, for being given a chance to be presented a cheque for my effort, even though I might not accept the “gratitude” offered.

Hahaha….kind of comical when i think of those comments having sympathy on you for experiencing those “love hurts” but it does prove that your sheep love and care for you as their pastor. One thing to add, you are actually very blessed for not even have to think or ever experience those “love hurts” in your life. Thank our God for it.

妈妈在医院等我。。。 Mum is waiting for me in the hospital…

Pastor, sometimes I am guilty of that too esp. after a tiring and stressful day at work when my mum walked into my room, wanting to chat with me but I was just too tired to chat and wanted to rest. I can see the disappointment in her. Aging parents are not working anymore and they are bored at home. All they long for everyday are to be able to see their children back home and spend time with them. Instead of feeling guilty, I feel we must turn that guilt into action. We are so blessed by God by giving us our parents, who love us without any condition. It is still not too late for you to take action now. Spare her more time than you usually do. I strongly believe God will be pleased with our action and the blessings will overtake us.

I will pray for your mum and I mean it, as last Sat, Ps Billy taught us when we say we will pray, we must honour our words, not just say to appease the person. God loves you and your mum too. She should be well soon. At times, God allows certain things to happen to alert us and change the ways we handle things for the benefits of us. God bless !

Pastor, do you mean we can only get it in Singapore in Sep’10 ?That is a long wait. Will you release in Malacca earlier and where can I find it there ?

May I know will you upload last week sermon and notes in your blog as well ? I mean 29 May 10. If not, it’s ok.

Alison, please don’t say that….you can still talk about love should our God gives you a chance again……

Personally, I feel that if we love someone, even a slight glance of that person will also make us happy. Moreover, if that person says or comments on certain things which may not be directed at us, somehow we shall “blur blur” do things in favour of him/her without letting him/her know. If we send him/her a sms or email and fail to get a reply from him/her, somehow our mood will be affected. A lot of elders like to say “被人爱是幸福的，爱人是痛苦的” but we also know “It is more blessed to give then receive” so it is kind of confusion here. Maybe we should not attach ourselves to “a person” but to “GOD” only so that in the event when things don’t work out as what we have expected, GOD’s strength will empower us….

那除不去的疤痕。。。 Scars that cannot be removed…

Pastor, at first when I commented on your photo, I thought yours are just “blue black” which will disappear after a while till you mentioned in this blog that they are actually scars. I was suddenly reminded this morning that I have a scar too, which I have forgotten long ago. It reminded me how I was treated at the hospital. Can you imagine that my skin was already torn open and bone could be seen ? Crying in pain was inevitable at that time but I was warned by the nurse that if I cry somemore, she will stitch up my mouth as well so I couldn’t cry anymore. Thinking back now, I want to laugh. Thank God for taking care of me and if I don’t mention, nobody would have noticed. It appears just at the right place or my face will be disfigured. Praise God for that ! Hurray !

Oops… Pastor… hopefully no offence huh ….Initially I thought I might be a bit “busybody” to comment on that cos none commented at all but those scars are really very obvious that I felt I need to say something, couldn’t imagine if this photo will be your new album’s photo. I strongly believe that your new album’s songs will be very excellent but…if they were to go with this photo, I’m afraid they might not blend well.

Hi Eunice, thanks for letting me know that he actually has 9 children. From the photo, excluding the brother and wife, there are 8 children so 1 is not in the photo. He is indeed very blessed as I have friends who tried very hard even seeking medical assistance but couldn’t even get one.

Pastor, for the last photo, for curiosity sake, that brother in Christ got so many children ?? Nowadays, hardly seen family with so many children especially in Singapore. If any couple with 4 children and above in Singapore, people will say “Wow Wow ….” Haha ….

又见萧丽君－喜乐的“苦命女子”。。。 Seeing again Xiao Li Jun – joyful lady who went through lots of suffering…

From her testimony, we know that she had forgiven the 3 men who had done cruel things to her ; her dad, her ex-husband and lastly, the person most difficult to be forgiven, that is the man who caused her to be in her current state. She has chosen to forgive which is so-called a smart thing to do, no doubt it is easier said than done. If we harbor grudges against anybody, we are the ones who suffer.

When negative things happen to us, no matter how much we yell and scream, murmur and complain, it’s not going to make anything better.
The bible says we are like a mist, a vapor; we’re here for a moment, then we’re gone. Life is flying by, so don’t waste another moment of our precious time being angry, unhappy, or worried.
