Dear Jane, relax… don’t be all so uptight and serious…
1st: Why did you need to repent to the Lord? You did nothing wrong. If anyone needs to “repent”, then it has to be “me” ‘cos I played a trick on you guys or rather “teased” you all… but I don’t think that is so serious. God is not all serious, He can see the humour of it all, and I’m SURE He appreciates your sincere concern too.
Whether your prayer is relevant or not, He sees the heart and blesses you, if not me. But your “anger” and “retaliation” after finding out your “wasted effort” is not that appropriate as it trod on the verge of being judgmental and attacking the person you were supposed to be praying for all of a sudden! What a change of heart and attitude, don’t you think?
If there is anything you should repent of, it won’t be your “wasted prayer” for me, but your words which I marked “xxxxxxxxx”. But to encourage you, I did take heed of some of your points in your previous comment, didn’t you notice? You do need to learn to be more discerning God bless you.
