一个人只身在外、离乡背井，每逢佳节倍思亲，更何况是自己的生日。。。
想象这是你的光景，你最亲密的家人、友人都不在身边，看来只好自己渡过一个孤单的生日，自己给自己唱生日歌。。。
但还好在外地也结交了一些朋友，他们对你也还不错，看在你生日的份上，就请你出去吃晚餐；虽然也会开心，但心里惦念的还是家乡跟你最亲密的亲友。。。
但没办法，事实摆在眼前，你在外国，他们在家乡，再怎么样你也得接受如此的庆祝方式。。。
所以你就答应跟这几个外地朋友一起出去吃晚餐，吃饭前，大家闭眼睛低头做谢饭祷告。。。
祷告完毕，抬起头睁开眼睛，赫然看见你家乡跟你最亲密也最疼爱你的朋友就坐在你眼前看着你！。。。请问你会有什么反应？
喂！喂！喂！这不是什么电影情节，也不是什么无聊的心理测验！这是前天晚上（10月16日星期五）刚刚发生在我们只身在新加坡的例外人团长，Jaydon祖身上的真实事件！！
10月16日是祖的生日，这戏剧化的情景又是谁设计的呢？而那个从家乡飞过去给他这份大惊喜的伟大友人又是谁呢？
唉！我们教会还有谁这么伟大啊？？？
好啦！好啦！你们如雷的掌声可以停止了，也快擦乾你们感动的眼泪吧。。。
说真的，读到这里，你们是不是都很羡慕祖呢？是不是很希望你们也有这么好的朋友呢？哈哈哈。。。
对不起，离题了，现在言归正传！我们今天的主题不是关于那伟大的朋友，而是想知道：如果你是祖，睁开眼睛的那一霎那，你会有什么反应？
你们觉得祖本身的反应又是什么？当你们有一些回应了，我就会把祖真正的反应告诉你们。。。

All alone overseas, you will miss home even more during festive seasons, especially if it’s your birthday…
Imagine this is your situation, your closest family members or friends are all not with you, looks like you are going to have a lonely birthday, singing birthday song to yourself…
But at least you do make some friends in this foreign land, and they treat you well too, and knowing it’s your birthday, they invite you out for dinner. Though you feel happy too, in your heart you still miss your closest friends at home…
However no choice, you have to face the truth, you are overseas and they are at home, so no matter what you still have to accept this kind of celebration…
So you agree to go out to dinner with these few friends. Before eating you all close your eyes and bow to give thanks for the food…
After giving thanks, you open your eyes and lo and behold! Your closest friend from home who loves you the most is sitting right in front of you staring at you!… Tell me, what will your reaction be?
Hey, hey, hey! This is not some movie scene, and also not some meaningless psychological test! This is a real life situation that happened just about two nights ago on Friday, Oct 16th to Jaydon Joo, Remnant’s band leader who is alone in Singapore now!!
October 16th is Jaydon’s birthday, but who actually designed this whole dramatic scenario? And who was this wonderful friend who flew all the way from Kuching to give him this great surprise?
Sigh! Who else can be so great in our church???

Honestly, reading up to this point, are you envious of Jaydon? So do you wish that you have such a wonderful best friend as well? Hahaha…
Sorry, we are a bit side-tracked here, let’s return to our original topic! Our focus is not on this wonderful friend today, it is about: If you were Jaydon, the moment you open your eyes, what will your reaction be?
