妈妈虽然出身贫苦，没受过什么教育，但她有个奋斗的个性，不轻言放弃。。。
非常感谢主，她也有幽默感，通常我叫她做什么，她都超配合的。。。

Though mum came from a tough and poor background, not educated, she has a fighter character and does not give up easily…
Really thank God, she has a sense of humour too, normally whatever I ask her to do, she will be very sporting to cooperate…

很可惜，几个月前摔倒跌断了脚，造成她行动不便。。。
Such a shame that few months back, she suffered a fall and broke her bone that hinders her mobility…

虽然这几个星期，在不能避免的情况下，需要暂时入住疗养院，她也不介意。。。
因在疗养院有很多其他老人好聊天、一起游戏、运动等等，而且她也常向他们传福音，我反而发现她气色和心情好了许多！

Though due to some unavoidable circumstances, she has to temporarily stay at a nursing home for these few weeks, she does not mind at all…
Because there are many old folks to talk to over there, to play games and exercise together etc, and she also constantly shares the Gospel with them, I discover her countenance and mood have greatly improved…

每次去看她一定会跟我讲很多其他老人家的故事，和一些在那边发生有趣的事情， 跟闷在家而抱怨的妈妈截然不同。。。
Each time I go and visit her, she will tell me many stories about the other old folks and some funny incidents that happened there, so different from the bored and complaining mother at home….

而且她也对教会节目充满热忱，将来临的圣经考试她也要参与，还很认真的温习准备。虽然明知道老人家的考卷超级简单和容易，她听她组长亚黄说，考平常较难的考卷比较好，她就告诉我说她也要考较难的考卷，只因为她想认识及学写更多字！真服了她！我想我们是有她的遗传，哈哈！

And she is full of zeal for our church programmes too. She will take the upcoming Bible test and is very serious about studying for it. Though she knows the special test paper for the elderly are super simple and easy, she said her group leader Ah Bong said it is better to sit for the harder ordinary paper, so she told me she wants to sit for the harder test as well, for the simple reason that she wants to learn to know and write more words! i have to salute her for that! Guess we really have her genes, haha!

在她还没入住疗养院前，有时候在家我感觉她记忆力怎么那么不好，头脑好像不太清醒；现在跟其他老人家比较，才发现原来她是那么清醒、敏锐和活泼！真的是看到信主老人家的不一样，就连其他来看他们父母亲的孩子都称赞我妈头脑很好、很棒！真感谢主让我看到妈的好见证！

Before she entered the nursing home, while at home, sometimes I would wonder why her memory was not that good and she did not seem alert. Now, compare with the other old folks, I realize she is actually very awake, alert and active! Really shows the difference of an old person who believes in Jesus, even the other children who come to visit their parents praise my mum for being very alert and great! Truly thank God for letting me see my mum’s good testimony!

再过几天，妈就回家了，求主让妈快快康复，让她能够再行动自如，阿们！
In a few more days, mum will be coming home. May God grant her speedy recovery that she can move around as she wishes again, Amen!

January 4, 2011

2011年1月1日晚上祷告会为127位初信者施洗。。。让他们干干净净开始新的一年特别有意义。。。
Baptized 127 new believers during the prayer meeting on the night of Jan 1st, 2011… that they could start the new year squeaky clean is indeed very meaningful…

感谢主，当晚受洗的男女老少都有。。。
Thank God, among those baptized that night, we had male and female, both young and old…

也感谢主，弟兄姐妹都会把福音传给社会各阶层人士。。。
Thank God too that our brothers and sisters do spread the Gospel to all levels of society…

当晚很特别的是伟明，他是特殊孩童，但很喜欢来教会，也很会赞美敬拜和祷告。。。
A very special person was Wei Ming that night, he is a special child, but he loves to come to church and he is very good at singing praises and praying as well…

受洗的年龄层也很广，有年长的。。。很感动！
The age gap among those baptized is very wide too, we have the elderly… Very touching!

也有刚满十二岁的，我们教会只洗十二岁以上的。。。这个好可爱！
And those just turned twelve, we only baptize those twelve and above in our church… This one is so cute!

有时候也有家人一起受洗。。。如这两兄弟。。。这位是哥哥。。。
Sometimes we have family members baptizing together… like these two brothers… this is the older brother…

这个是弟弟。。。不要问我为什么。。。
This is the younger brother… Don’t ask me why…

有一些在洗礼池里就被圣灵充满了。。。
Some would be filled with the Holy Spirit while in the pool…

由于人多，加上有一些很想也把我拉下水，所以难免会累，有时候会若有所思。。。
再累也感恩很多灵魂得救！
Because there were many people, and some wanted to pull me into the water too, so I could feel weary too, and sometimes in deep thought…
No matter how tiring, I give thanks for the many souls saved!

有时候照片拍出来，好像我在谋杀。。。
但其实洗礼也真的是我们老我旧人要死。。。感谢主给我们复活的新生命。。。
Sometimes the photos appear to be like I was murdering someone…
But actually baptism is really putting to death our old self… Thank God for giving us a resurrected new life…

又到了年底蒙福排行榜投票时刻。。。今年到底哪些歌将挤入我们教会最爱的20首诗歌排行榜里呢？
前五名又会是哪几首呢？
这里 GT 又给你们得奖的机会了，不是蒙福教会或外地的也可以参与哦。。。

It’s that time of the year when we are voting for Blessed Top 20 again… Which 20 songs will squeeze into our church’s favourite songs chart this year?
And which will be the top 5 songs?
Here GT is giving you a chance to win a prize again, you can participate even if you are not from Blessed Church or not in Kuching…

要如何得奖呢？How to win the prize?

1) 首位准确按排名猜中2010年蒙福诗歌排行榜”前面五首歌的将得第一奖，第二、第三奖也如是决定。
The first person to guess the Top 5 songs in all correct order for “2010 Blessed Top 20” shall be the 1st prize winner.
The 2nd and 3rd prize winner will be decided accordingly as well.
（*要猜对前5首！Must guess right the first 5 songs!)

2) 若无人准确按排名猜中所有五首，答案最靠近者将得奖。
Should no one guess all the Top 5 songs correctly in the right order, the winner will be based upon the closest answer.

3) GT 有权做最后决定。（你有意见吗？哈哈 ^^)
